A Life in Black and White

am not your usual lady in the neighbourhood. i could be fun-loving and ambitions blazing, yet chilling with a good book in hand. loves audrey hepburn movies, lemon-lime-&-bitters, vintage anything and furniture. am not one effortlessly impressed. i see my goals, my dreams and the enjoyment would lie not merely in the success at the end of the road but in this journey of life. livin` it, lovin` it, keepin` it real. i travel alone, i travel light, in my 20`s - la vie est belle!

"House of Flying Chestnuts" was hilarious! :)

My gal said it best, "Do you ever think, 'I don't even know who I am anymore?'

Everyday...

I try and go to bed by 0200am. I automatically wake up at 0700am. I wear collared shirts and nice slacks or smart skirt suits. I get dropped off at the train station listening to the morning news. I squeeze into an impossibly packed train to get to work. I smile at a man who checks my security pass in the morning, not caring what his name is. I ride the elevator in uncomfortable silence with strangers, surrounded by mirrored walls. I drink tea that is free but tastes horrible. I keep my locker tidy, but my bags are filled with crap, crap and more crap. I work overtime and am not paid for a minute more than my 8 hours. *claimable tho`* I check my email religiously as a bad habit I can't rid myself of. I reach out for Post-Its and pens and other office supply goodies and lunch break is the highlight of my day...

...It never fails.

I'm becoming the inevitable.
