blast from the past

It's been one entire week into my off-peak season and how I've missed doing all the things I love! :) Truly, it's exciting on day one and then it begins to slow down...haha...so now, every day is akin to a stroll so as to speak...

I've been visiting MP's global site so much it gives me unnecessary headache at times...then again, I'm sure initial enthusiasm will wear off after a while like how it always does...Man, I'll be sooo happy should Rchelle get the job in the Caribbean!!! Wooohooo! BVI...zero tax rate, all the days of leave, the Bermuda, the Bahamas...pity I missed the qualification date by that teeny weeny bit! I'm not complaining though...I can visit anytime!!!! lol

Scarlet Hotel with my lil piece of haven was lovely...we can hardly hold our liquor now though haha...a mere glass each and we were grinning the night away! Anyway, the hotel is splendid and I'd definitely be back again... :)

I LOVE SHOPPING!!! Shopping is always fun...and...I've been shopping waaay tooo much! The Isetan sale today was horrendous. People were squeezing from all sides and finally I bought a gift, a pair of linen pants for D, 2 tops, and some other stuff - all for S$127...I found this wonderful dress that I so wanted to buy but I know if I ever wear it out onto the street, everyone's gonna look at me funny. That's the problem with Singaporeans. They're never experimental enough. Just safe and boooooooring. Then again i'm safe and boring sometimes. I love it though! In Blogerator's words, it's "love-lai"...I haven't bought so much stuff since hahaha...2 weeks back?! After all these many many years of shopping experience, I've learned to appreciate shopping alone than to have company. I'm sure most girls can relate to that. :)

Went for a seminar at Bloomberg today. Their pantry was really impressive...gummies, biscuits, all types of choc, mars bars, uncle toby's yogurt bars, cereals, chips, nachos, the range of instant noodles, wow seriously! And...the beverage refrigerator, all types and flavours of milk, soya milk, Starbucks chilled frappacinos, all the fruit juices, ginger beer, canned drinks, different types of mineral water...amazing! I'm not finished! The wonderful coffee machine...the many baskets of fruits...and they have ordered lunch packages of either bento sets or Subway sandwiches every day for all employees and guests who visit for training seminars...and all the lunches are nicely placed and labelled...have I yet mentioned I'm impressed? :) I've signed up for the Bloomberg certification program, so I guess I'll be seeing a whole more of the Bloomberg office in the next months...

Got to work today and there was this loooong queue for our corporate Star Wars special...I'm waiting for the coming week too...how long has it been? Years...

It's been raining cats and dogs lately, such wonderful weather to sleep in! I feel so lazy on rainy days...the inertia...lol

Just emailed my questionaire off to Chicago...I'm going to bed!
