A Life in Black and White

am not your usual lady in the neighbourhood. i could be fun-loving and ambitions blazing, yet chilling with a good book in hand. loves audrey hepburn movies, lemon-lime-&-bitters, vintage anything and furniture. am not one effortlessly impressed. i see my goals, my dreams and the enjoyment would lie not merely in the success at the end of the road but in this journey of life. livin` it, lovin` it, keepin` it real. i travel alone, i travel light, in my 20`s - la vie est belle!

This is a local joke. Really.

Check this out.

I'm quick to add, it's true though, I quite agree with his views on the National Kidney Foundation case. I find it hard to stomach that the CEO is drawing a monthly payout of S$25k, together with an annual bonus of 12-13 months, which equates to a handsome sum of approximately S$600k a year, translating into almost US$360k an annum, and we haven't yet taken into account whatever allowances he might have pocketed in addition to all these. It's disgusting where our taxpayers' monies are being spent.
