A Life in Black and White

am not your usual lady in the neighbourhood. i could be fun-loving and ambitions blazing, yet chilling with a good book in hand. loves audrey hepburn movies, lemon-lime-&-bitters, vintage anything and furniture. am not one effortlessly impressed. i see my goals, my dreams and the enjoyment would lie not merely in the success at the end of the road but in this journey of life. livin` it, lovin` it, keepin` it real. i travel alone, i travel light, in my 20`s - la vie est belle!

waiting to exhale

I'm sitting here facing my computer screen with Jostein Gaarder's book opened up to page 19 positioned in front of me. If my two cents' worth is anything to go by, it's truly a good read about existence and life. Maya...

Caught another episode of "America's Next Top Model: Season 2" last night. I have 3 raves!
1) Nigel Barker - ooh what a hunk! haha!
2) Jay is wonderful - he's got a good eye!
3) I luurve April!!! But *WARNING! Spoiler ahead!!!* (lol! don't click on the link if you don't wana know...) ...we all know who will win! Well, I do! And I guess it was quite apparent from day one uh-huh...

Couldn't resist! April's portfolio - Jay and Nigel are genuises!

And...here's the best face...agreed...hard to come by :) Just look at her bone structures!

Got a call from ShaC out of the blue! :) It's nice especially it's been eons since we last caught up! Complaints bout Cocoalatte...hmm...all rap and hardly a place with something to dance to *haven't been there myself*...well, good to hear ShaC is finally up and about...and woah! The workload! Hustle and bustle of Raffles Place...Haha! I can just smell the familiarity...My turn soon...

Watched "Vanity Fair" today. It's witty, charming, brilliant! The Indian stuff, on the other hand, really brought out peals of laughter from the audience. Hahahaha...funny! Nevertheless, the movie was a tad long...yet still enjoyable mainly due to Rebecca's vast intelligence, unparalleled in that time and age. ;) Whooo...James Purefoy is a looker!

Yes, my X-ray this morning...took all of 2 minutes...then popped into California next door for my combat class...`twas all good :) I have to say though, that taking a shower at California does feel different now that I've heard all those disgusting stories about shower cremes and all from CYJR *only in the men's showers I hope!* - ewwww!...Just a mindless observation, Orchard Road on weekday afternoons...I see tons of students (JC cohorts particularly) everywhere! Remarkable how I see so many more RJ students hanging about almost everywhere along the Orchard stretch than CJ students. haha...like I said, merely one of those extraordinarily crappy comments that add spice to life perhaps =b ...beau jour!

The new Carlsberg ad, and the new Guiness ad to rival...Carlsberg - yet another catchy tune - Celebrate tonight!....Guinness - Someone's gotta do it...why not you? *ahhh* :)

More job-related books to cover (after Maya)...and Pinkies' Hen night planning too! ;) Ta.
