Back from Bali!
Haven't posted for a while...my days and weeks have been very very full - lunchtimes, after work nights...and now it's all quiet down and GW has left for Dubai. I don't do goodbyes well (and also, it isn't goodbye forever babe) so I didn't see her off. But she'll always be in my heart - that's what friendship is about isn't it?
Finally got down to uploading our Bali photos - Bali was amazing - we both had a heavenly time :) A much needed break away from our work!
We stayed at Uma Sapna Villas in the Seminyak area (which is the upmarket expat area coz of all the chic little shops). It was a good deal at SGD 150+ a night which included hotel transfers, daily breakfast and complimentary 15-minutes massages for both of us. After my taxes, I can't bring myself to spend a lot this time round! The people at the villa were so nice, they even gave us an upgrade to a villa with our own pool :)
Finally we extended our trip for one more night, and since Uma Sapna Villas were fully booked, we decided to move on down to Kuta area, where we stayed at Lokha Legian Hotel. It wasn't as luxurious as the villa we had earlier on, but hey, at SGD 80 for just one night with a pretty good bed, it was decent :)
The highlight of our trip must have been the diving! We had a go at our very first dive :) It was a brillant recommendation by CT and I don't think I can ever forget the USAT Ship wreak we saw so many metres below ocean level. Pretty amazing :) And now R might take on a diving license.
Just putting up the slideshow below (which took an extremely long time to put up!) - Enjoy! :) Oh yes, and what we picked up in Bali too! :) Hehe, I couldn't resist :)

"Happiness comes from spiritual wealth, not material wealth..Happiness comes from giving, not getting. If we try hard to bring happiness to others, we cannot stop it from coming to us also. To get joy, we must give it, and to keep joy, we must scatter it." - John Templeton
