A Life in Black and White

am not your usual lady in the neighbourhood. i could be fun-loving and ambitions blazing, yet chilling with a good book in hand. loves audrey hepburn movies, lemon-lime-&-bitters, vintage anything and furniture. am not one effortlessly impressed. i see my goals, my dreams and the enjoyment would lie not merely in the success at the end of the road but in this journey of life. livin` it, lovin` it, keepin` it real. i travel alone, i travel light, in my 20`s - la vie est belle!

The race

The Formula 1 tickets were going like hot cakes...the queue (last we asked) was at a 2.5 hours wait - and we couldn't wait anymore - so Durrow Gal has to try to get the tickets again...

I especially love the roses and gold pearls - really brought a sparkle into my day :)

Hope y'all had a good one too!

in the name of beauty

It's amazing what we women do out of vanity. Unthinkable at times yet in a subtly amazing way somehow (does it even make sense?)

My latest fascination - eyelash extensions. Imagine batting your eyes away with luscious long lashes...I rest my case :)

Having seen G babe's "before & after" - I'm tempted now...

The finer things in life

Ivanka Trump has come up with a wonderful new line of jewels - Ivanka Trump Collection :)

So now, she's beautiful, smart and also has another business under her belt! And it just struck me that my little bro Jas is gonna be in the same Wharton alumni as her!

My fave pieces in her collection - together with the pair of tassel earrings she's wearing in her own advert above - in a word, gorgeous!

And even her shop is worth a visit - just to take in the pretty done up boutique :)

Another place to visit when I'm in the Big Apple!

The city that never sleeps

R and I are going to New York, New York!

Tickets are all booked and I can't wait! There are like a million and one things to do/see/visit/eat/shop...the list goes on!

So, sometime in May, we'll be flying to the US, first starting off with New York, then heading to the Niagra Falls with a little bit of Canada, before it's off to Disney World in Orlando, and finally, ending off in Las Vegas! It does sound like a pretty tight schedule - but hey it's gonna take almost all of 17-18 days away!

Now it's just booking for our hotels and planning for our days...am already counting down!

I've also picked up my pink tourmaline drops from CT and they're lovely :)
